Flashing light after opening eyes in the dark

by Mario_101, Jul 08, 2009 08:56PM
I see flashing light after opening my eyes in the dark every once in a while. It's just flashing and it lasts for a few seconds at most and then it goes away. This usually happens after I wake up from sleeping instead of it from just closing my eyes in the dark for a while and opening again. Also sometimes when I wake up my vision can be a little blurry. I also have anxiety and depression if that has anything to do with it.

Probably normal.  If concerned see an ophthalmologist.
