Flashing lights- seeing arteries

I often see flashing light in my eye . But the really odd thing is that i can see the intricate pattern of my arteries in my eye. This usually occurs with heavy heart beats and is in rythm with pulse. Or it also occurs if i am running and taking impact on knees and would occur whenever i take impact. i can only see arteries  in lower section of my eye only. The arteries look red with black outline

Recently, my eyesight weakened slightly. My optician thought i might have diabetes, which i dont.

Does anyone know why i could see arteries in my eyes?

Hi Dr. Hagan; this is barb again; is it normal for the air bubble to swim around fast and take off and break up to smaller bubbles?   I feel as if this is not going to go away.  It takes a long time; I did talk to my rs and they said it should all be gone this summer.  Barb.
