Floaters, flashes and infection in my eyes

Hi,

I have had many corrective surgeries, 9 to be precise, all before the age of 12 or 13. Since I have had 1 Grenuloma, which was removed, the Grenuloma was the result of an old stitch not dissolving because of scar tissue.

Now I have inflammation in both eyes, which I was told was an infection and finished the course of anti biotic eye drops. There seem to be a few of these Grenulomas, sometimes causing discomfort. The reddness does not go away.

I am also seeing flashes of color in the center of my vision, colors vary between magenta to cyan. Also a small singular black spot that comes and goes and some floaters, the floaters are identical in each eye. In snowy conditions I can see floaters, the black spot and lots of bright pinhole spots all at the same time. I also see, in very low light, pulsing purple where I get flashes in the day time and in the dark I can focus on this purple thing.    

I am a bit worried and would appreciate some advice. My doctor told me it was normal, but he was also complaining about how tired he was after having worked 3 days and diagnosed my eye infection in 10 seconds. I hope he was right.

The flashes are not related to the infection.  You need to follow up with your doctor is symptoms do not improve.
