Floaters and computers

Hello:
  My name is Farida Guzman. I am 33 years old. I am a computer programmer. I have been working on computers for 10 years. Last year I got a very tense project and I have been taking a drug (Meprobamato) for sleeping better for 6 month. I am seeing the floaters for already 4 month. I have seen two different oftalmologists. They said that my eyes are ok. They said I do not need glasses. I am going to see the retina specialist.
  My questions is:
  Do I need to avoid the long hours on the computers?
