Floaters and light scattering

by wigfield, Nov 23, 2007 11:54AM
I had a catarct operation on both eyes that was done a year and a half ago,ive just been to see my optician to get some new glasses,he has told me that i do have alot of floaters,i forgot to ask him would the floaters be causing the light scattering

He has looked into my eyes and cant find anything else wrong.

Thanks

You should have an eye examination with ophthalmologist - and he/she can tell you the exact state of your floaters.  Often very normal - but sometimes a sign of problems.  Floaters usually don't blurr your vision but can cause little dark shadows to move about in your vision at certain times,
