Thank you for your suggestions & commments. I find the floaters irritate most when reviewing scaled down drawing prints and when working on-screen with AUTO CAD ... otherwise it receeds into oblivion when concentrating on other work. Its during the most stressful moments that this phenomina seems to appear to add to the negative stresses ... will keep advised. Regards, jetadhai
As a retinal specialist, I do not believe it laser treatment of floaters work.

I have had floaters all of my life. I was extremely myopic, as a matter of fact, I was almost blind! My eyeglasses were thick as Coke bottles bottoms. Then I was diagnosed with cataracts. I had the surgery done, but first I had some laser surgery to fix my retinas (I don't even remember what the problem was) but, anyways, about 8 months after the cataract removal, I started losing vision on my right eye, like overnight. It was scary. But I had Yag laser (didn't hurt) and I was fine. Now I have developed that occasional cloudiness over the right eye. I don't know what could cause this and if it is serious or not. I'm waiting to see what happens before gong to my eye 'Dr. Some people think it might be eye strain because I work at the computer for long hours at a time. In any event, I wish you well and look into the procedure for the floaters. Some people don't think it works, I don't know. EloisaO
There are some doctors using a YAG laser to removed floaters. Most retinal surgeons do not believe in this procedure.
