Fluorescent lighting

The recent question about fluorscent lighting reminded me of something I've been experiencing.  I'm 6 weeks out of a vitrectomy and scleral buckle (left eye).  When I've recently been in places that have fluorescent lighting, it seems to be very bothersome to my eye, and makes me uncomfortable.  This is happening in stores that I have frequented for years (without incident), and I don't know if the feeling is real or imagined.  The ophthalmic drops I continue to take are ofloxacin, prednisolone and cosopt.  Would this have something to do with pupil dilation?

Thank you
lmhach

The surgery and RD and inflammation may have made your eye more sensitive. Wear a hat and goggle type sunglasses.
