Ghosting in one eye only?

Hello,
I am 17 years old and I've been experiencing ghosting of images for about 2 weeks now. I may have had it before and am just now noticing it though. When I look at white letters on a dark background or lights there's an almost doubled image, but not completely double, but when I look through a pinhole the ghosting is gone. I've also just recently noticed slight blurring of distant objects, but this does not get better with a pinhole. I have an eye exam next week but I'm just wondering what the cause could be? I had an eye exam last year and everything came out fine.

I would recommend that you seek the care of an eyeMD. It sounds as if you might have developed astigmatism of your eye.
