Glaucoma - true or false

am 45 years old, last year i went to see an eye doctor. He asked me to do visual field test and OCT, both results were normal but he siad i have deep cup (0.7 - 0.5) and gave me Nyolol 0.5 twice a day. My eye pressure was normal before i use this medication and till now. Recently i saw a glaucoma specialist, he said my optic nerve is fine and the same to my eye pressure, but he recomend me to keep using medication. My question is that do i have glaucoma or not.

If the nerve scan and visual fields are normal you do not have glaucoma.  However,  this needs to be followed on a regular basis (one a year).

A large cup to disk ratio does not necessarily mean you have glaucoma, but it is a symptom of it and bears watching by your opththalmologist.  Some people naturally have higher ratios than others, but often a high ratio is indicative of some deterioration of optic nerve cells.  Although your pressure is normal, your ophthalmologist apparently wants to make sure it stays that way, as high IOP can cause damage.
