Glaucoma Tube & Bladder Infection

Glaucoma Tube & Bladder Infection

Thank you for answering my previous question so promptly.  My mother is 71 years old and is in realatively good health.  She had a mild heart attack a year and a half ago but she is feeling good except for a recurring bladder infection.  She has been on antibiotics since March and the infection is still hanging on.

Will the bladder infecction affect her ability to recover from the glaucoma tube surgery?

I would recommend that you speak with her doctors and consider surgery when the infection has cleared.  Check with her glaucoma doctor and general medical doctor for the best answer to this question for your mom's specific situation.
