Glaucoma and Thyroid issue

I just read that Thyroid problems may be linked with Glaucoma.  There is a posibility that I have Glaucoma and when I told my ENT this, he wrote out a note to my Eye Doctor that said "Do not put her on any Beta-Blockers".

What does that mean?  If I have Glaucoma...is there going to be an issue with taking Armour and any Glaucoma treatment?

I didn't get a response from anyone in the Thyroid Forum so hopefully I'll get an answer here!

Thanks so much for any responses!

There is not a significant relationship of thyroid (under/over active) and glaucoma.  Beta blockers are one of 4 types of glaucoma medication available. Beta blockers have many side effects. There are three other types your ophthalmologist can use as well as laser therapy.

Thyroid medications do not bother glaucoma or cause glaucoma.
