Graves Eye Disease

Hi I was diagnosed having an over active thyroid 3 years ago and was put on meds including a beta blocker I had my levels checked when I was pregnant by my Obgyn and she took me off them my entire pregnancy due to my levels being in the normal range. The 1st time I noticed something was wrong with me was because my eyes became so painful and were bulging, dry, and red. I went to an eye doc who then told me I must have Graves. When I went to the specialist he kept telling me that nothing is wrong with my eyes and that I must just have big eyes!  Hello my eyes are bulging out I don't only have big eyes!  My question is this I am so uncomfortable with my physical appearance and I admit that although it's not as bad as pictures I've seen of others with the problem is there anything I can actually do?  Is there doc's who are willing to "fix" my eyes even if it is just minimal?  Thanks

You need to see on oculoplastic or an orbital surgeon.
