Green Vision

Today I woke up earlier than usual with a green tint to my whole visual field.  It was like looking through a green sheet of cellophane in both eyes.  It lasted for about 2 minutes, and gradually became clear to where I didn't experience it anymore.  While my vision was green tinted, though, I could still see clearly and had no other side effects.  I also noticed a loud ringing in both of my ears that lasted for a very long time.  I went back to sleep for about an hour and didn't experience the green vision after that, nor the ringing.  However, I still have mild ringing in my ears.  I am on no new medications, I have not changed my diet, nor have I done anything unusual.  I was wondering if this has ever been heard of before, and if so, what the likelihood of a recurrence would be?

Visual changes and ringing in the ears are a disturbing couple of symptoms. I would see an Eye MD and an ENT as quickly as possible. You may also need to see a neurologist.
