Growth in corner of my eye

Hi, i've got a growth of some sort which is white in color in the corner of my right eye nearest my nose. I've had it for a year now and it hasn't affected my vision at all. There's no pain etc. I'm wondering what it may be and if it would affect my vision at all long term.
