Head Injury and Vision

Suffered a concussion several months ago and seem to be still having vision problems. I am unable to focus on close up work and I have off and on double vision with headaches. Went to an optometrist and he said that this is a brain issue and not so much an eye issue. Suggest vision therapy to see if it would help. He also said that my one pupil constricts slower than my other eye, not sure what that means he really didn't say. Could that be why I can't focus? I also seem to have more trouble in the dark getting my eyes to adjust. He said I shouldn't drive until they see how much the vision therapy helps. Does this sound correct?

You should really seen an ophthalmologist for this type of problem.
