Headaches after lost eye

Headaches after lost eye

I lost an eye a few months ago after a household accident. My other eye is fine, but I get severe headaches when I read or work on a computer. The doctor says that everything looks fine in the MRI, but some people have headaches for a while after eye-removal surgery. He says the headaches go away for most people by now and he can't give me an idea of how long it will take to get better.

Is this common after losing an eye? Does it always go away or is it possible that I'll be stuck with these headaches when I read?

No I don't think that headache should persist after removing an eye.
