Heredomacular degeneration

Hi

This is Hari from India. I am 27 years old. I have been suffering from Heredomacular degeneration problem since 3 years. Due to this my eye vision is getting reduced day by day. Here my doctors said that there is no treatment for this disease. So, please suggest me a fruitful solution for this.

There are many types of hereditary macular degenerations. So you have not really identified your problem. You need the name of the macular degeneration.

A common type is Best's disease. this will give you an idea of the problem.

Remember the macula is 5% of your retina so it will not make you totally blind but it can cause legal blindness and loss of ability to read, drive, and see straight ahead.

Get the name from the Eye MD that saw you. Do your own research and get a second opinion. I am not optomistic you will be able to be helped.
