High Astigmatism

by jonjon20110, Dec 30, 2008 01:28PM
Hey there, my Dad just got a new prescription and while reading it, I saw that his Rx read like this Both Eyes +6.75, I know he is farsighted, but his astigmatism was -6 in both eyes, how severe is this?  Given no other information, how good would his vision be without glasses?

Dear jonjon20110,

Your dad is very farsighted and has a large amount of astigmatism.  His uncorrected vision is probably not good.
