High Eye Pressure and Anti-depressants

Hi,
Hoping you can help me.  My mom is being monitored by her eye doctor every few months as she has consistently high "eye pressure".  He says she does "not" have glaucoma, but because her eye pressure is high, she has to be monitored.  I have 2 questions, I hope you dont mind.......
1)  Is high eye pressure dangerouse?  Can she do anything to reduce it?
2)  Is it safe to take Anti-depressants with this "high eye pressure"....specifically my mom is considering taking Celexa
I would greatly appreciate some advice.

Thanks in advance...

1. Yes high pressure can be dangerous and is often associated with glaucoma, a top three cause of blindness in the world. Problem is some people tolerate higher pressure than others. She needs to be under the care of an Eye MD ophtalmologist and have exams at least each 6 months and special glaucoma tests.

2. Antidepressants can be taken with high IOP as long as the Eye MD ophthalmologist has done a test called "gonioscopy" to be sure the angle of the eye is open and not occludible.
