High ocular pressure

My right eye is having high ocular pressure tuned to 46 which is reduced to 26now. and left eye is now 15 reduced from 18. Doctor has diagnosed it as narrow angle glaucoma and suggested YAG laser treatment for both the eyes to open up  the channels. He said this is  followed by surgery of both the eyes which will reduce the pressure power of lenses. Also we can save left eye from glaucoma in future.  The optical nerve of right eye is damaged. Kindly suggest if YAG treatment will help us and if  both eyes to be operated later on? My spectacle power for both the eye is +6 now.

Yes,  the YAG PI is a safe procedure.  The second surgery depends on the pressure after treatment.  Your left eye may not need additional surgery.  If drops can not control you pressure to an acceptable level you will need additional glaucoma surgery.
