Home remedy for Diplopia

I underwent "eye muscle surgery" four years ago for strabismus, that surgery resulted in constant diplopia ( Never had it before ).... Opthamologist seem to can't get a fix on this problem, prisms are un-effective on me..( I am blacking out one lens on sunglasses ).
My next step is to seek a method to eliminate the vision of the amblophic eye thus eliminating the double vision....
There must be a liquid chemical or lighting method ( I can apply to my eye ) to end this nightmare I am living.......
Any help, ideals will be greatly appreciated.....
I've listen to the people in the medical field and have already wasted too much time on methods that yield no results..

I have a couple of suggestions for you.

1)  See your eye care provider about ways to blur your vision in your bad eye.  There are a number of possibilities, including a high plus contact lens/glasses lens or a foil or special coating for your glasses lens.  Do NOT use any liquid chemicals!

2)  If you haven't already done so, get a second/third opinion from an experienced strabismus specialist.  In your place, I would definitely consider traveling to see one of the "top" strabismus specialists in the country.  For a nominal fee, you can get the names/locations of some of the best American strabismus specialists from Castle-Connolly's directory.  (Try googling.)  Please don't give up hope.  The first five specialists whom I consulted all told me to go home and live with my eye problem, but I stuck gold with doc #6.
