How long for Chalazion to go away?
I have a chalazion on my lower eyelid. It is small - pea sized - but my eye doctor won't let me have it surgically removed for another 3 weeks. Thing is that I have exams and prom coming up in two weeks. I've had this now for 4 days. I'm regularly using warm compressions, prescribed eye drops and antibiotic cream. Do you think it will go away on its own - and usually how long does it take?

Thanks!

They take a LONG time to go away. 90% will shrink to where they can't been seen with proper treatment (hot comprsses, lid scrubs, antibiotic ointment) over SIX weeks.
