How much does Orbital Decompression Surgery Cost?
I don't have Graves eye disease but my eyes do stick out/bulge slightly. i wear glasses now so you can't really see it, but when i take off my glasses you can definitely see it. i want to eventually get lasik surgery when i'm older (like 21, 22yrs old) and i dont want people staring at my eyes .
So how much will it cost, especially since my insurance won't cover it?
And please don't say "it varies from region to region/state to state". i know that, but just give me an estimate or how much you payed.

so insurance does not cover non-graves eye disease proptosis?
i would be getting a part of the lateral wall removed.

Surgery for severe Graves eye disease is covered by insurance.  The cost depends on what need to be done.
