How to prevent my eyes from sinking in?

I have had glasses since I was 8 and I have a really strong perscription (-4.15 in one eye and -5 in the other). And I am only 14 I have a missing or very thin orbital bone and an enlarged optic nerve. I have noticed over the past few months that my eyes are really starting to sink in. What is the reason for this? How can I prevent this from occuring?

Your eyelids may be drooping (ptosis), they should not be sinking in.

Go to see an ophthalmologist. When you go take some pictures of you taken 3-4 years ago so the Eye MD can see if things have changed.

Hopefully you are already under the care of an ophthalmologist Eye MD.

tell your parents about your concerns.
