How to rule out glaucoma in severely myopic eyes?

I have -15 diopters, I am 30 years old.
I heard that it is almost impossible to diagnose early glaucoma in severely myopic eyes, because the fundus looks very alike as in early glaucoma.
What tests should I do to monitor glaucoma onset? GDX,HRT all are useless in my case, the optic nerve in extreme myopia is different than in healthy eyes.
I have no family history of glaucoma, my intraocular pressure is rarely higher than 14, never extended 20.Last time it was 12.
Still, my doctor is worried that the early onset of glaucoma could go unnoticed in my case.
Recently I had entire visual field test and I have to say there are some losses in my whole peripheral vision, from every side. Not dramatic losses (no black spots, only grey), but I can see this loss as ''noisy '', a little darkened vision in this areas. There is no central damage, only the blind spot is huge (peripapillary atrophy). Are these kind of visual field losses (deterioration of peripheral vision) perfectly normal in severely  myopic eyes? Should I worry?
Please help

cup/disk ratio is the size of the optic nerve cup to the diameter of the optic nerve. Glaucoma causes it to increase. The Humphrey Matrix is quite new. I have no experience with it nor do most people. The standard Humphrey Perimeter using a testing program for glaucoma is currently the standard of care and not "old" the  old test is a manually administered flat wall test or Goldman test.

With all modern tests Dx'ing glaucoma is not that difficult: visual field, nerve fiber layer OCT,  cup/disk ratio assessment,  corneal thickness corrected IOP, visual fields.

Which visual field is better? Matrix or the older one?I have never heard about cup/disc ratio-what is that?
