Is it true that a Humphrey Field Test can miss even the biggest scotomas in your eye?
i had one of those tests too a few weeks ago and i am sure i have lots of little blind spots but they didn't show up on the test ...
and if you have other blind spots as well as the normal ones, will it plot those too?

If you do the test correctly it will always plot the blind spots which represent the optic nerve.

My field test was normal but I know I have blind spots. So can it miss things?
what about small ones?

no. it is an excellent instrument and not likely to miss a large scotoma
