What are the chances of a medium sized tear healing in an eight week period of time?

_

This all depends on the underlying health of the central cornea.  Sometimes they heal in a few days and other times many weeks/months.  As you know,if this keeps recurring or it doesn't heal, a corneal transplant may be recommended.  I hope this has been helpful.
