I have a stationay black spot un my left eye

2 month ago i was punched in the left eye and could barely see anything for 3 hours after the incident. The next morning I notice a black stationary spot in my eye and started seeing weird things (flashes when moving eye, lightnings) so I decided to see an ophtalmologist who examined my eye with my pupils dilated but found nothing and said my retina was fine. The week after I went to an optometrist since  I wasn't convinced and again he performed the same exam and saw nothing. Now it's been i little over a month and this black spot is still there and the flashes when moving my eyes also. This is realy annoying and depressing. I am wondering if it's possible that what I have is a small macular which would require a different exam to be able to see it. Another weird things is that I started having floaters in my right eye and never before i have notice them. Is it possible that the injury to my left eye brought complications to my right eye (started noticing the floaters in my right eye only 3 weeks ago)
Thanks in advance!

Dear Gobfather,

I would recommend that you seek the care of a retinal specialist.  You may have a posterior vitreous detachment which is not completely separated, so the there is a large floater.
