IOL Replacement Post Surgery Problems

I have had monofocal IOL replacements set to distance in both eyes. The vision in one eye is perfectly clear and in the other, not as clear. I noticed that when I lift my head and look out of the bottom half of the lenses, I can focus perfectly, but not when my head is level, and when I turn to the side, slight double vision occurs. When I close either eye, I see normally for distance and side vision. Is this a common side effect of cataract surgery? Can it be caused by a improperly placed lens? What is best remedy?

I doubt this is due to the IOL. It is probably due to some residual astigmatism. Ask you surgeon about this.
