Inability to use computer screen without feeling unwell

For The last few months I have been unable to look at a computer screen for more than an hour at a time without feeling unwell. By unwell i guess i mean something similar to nausea, I have no headaches but feel 'sick' in my stomach. If i begin to feel sick and then get up and leave the computer I will be fine though not able to go back on the computer for a full hour, more like half an hour until the next day. If I persist though for another 30 mins or so not only will i feel more unwell but i will begin to feel sick then for the next day or so if i watch tv or even if i read. If i watch a large amount of tv say 4 hours or so i will have a similar feeling to that of looking at a computer screen for an hour or so.

Also i should note the problem seems to be worse the closer the screen (whether TV or computer) is to me.

I went for an eye test at the very beginning of these symptoms around 2 months back and my eye test was determined to be fine. I have a feeling that it may be related to my inner ear/balance related as i tend to feel a little off balance after these periods of unwellness and if i hop straight to bed after a session on the computer my head will tend to 'spin' a little bit.

I need to be able to focus on my computer screen for work for long periods of time so i really need to address this issue.

See an ophthalmologist and have a cycloplegic refraction.  You may be farsighted and are still able to accommodate for short periods of time.
