Increased floaters and a new black dot in vision after cut in eye by a paper

I was accidentally hit by my toddler with a paper edge and eye was bruised two months back and I had blurred vision and watery eyes for almost two days although after the incident I rinsed my eye with strrile water and put eyedrops in it which helped heal it. I have not been to any eye doctor since then as I lost my job around that time. I had been noticing increased floaters in my eyes and a black dot in vision of the right eye since then. Now after going out for a full day in sun, I have trouble reading and seeing because of the black dot and floaters becoming more prominent. Will this cause permanent blinding? what should I do?? Please help. I am thinking of going to an eye doctor or may be an opthalmologist.

The only way to determine the cause of your symptoms is by having your eyes examined. Do try to see an Eye MD ophthalmologist. If you have a family MD he/she can often refer you to a good one.
