Infant Eyes are not symmetrical

Infant Eyes are not symmetrical

Hi, I noticed that my 1 month old baby boy's eyes are not identical. Left eyes appears 20% smaller than right eye. He was born with jaundice that seem disppeared now. I was wondering if this is some type of known problem or it will go away by time. Please note that my wife's brother born with Congenital cataract so is there any possiblity of hereditary ?.

Thanks in advance for your reply,
-RK

This is probably normal.  This is usually due to one eyelid being lower than the other.

You should point this out to the pediatrician at your next well baby exam.
