Infant eye question

Infant eye question

My son is 9months old. I find sometimes when he looks side ways, his left eye(retina) goes more inwards. I can say the right eye is 100% fine then the left eye is 90-92%. His both eyes focus at the same place at the sametime but the left is more inwards(goes more inside).

Please let me know what can we do about it & what is this called.

Thanks & Regards,
Amy

It could be strabismus/eye muscle problems. You need to see a pediatric ophthalmologist as this can cause reduced vision (amblyopia) Find on at www.aao.org or ask your pediatrician for a referral.
