What is the deferences between viral and bacterial conjunctivitis ?

Bacterial conjunctivitis" caused by bacteria or germ, very red eye, no pain, no decrease in vision, lots of pus, responds to antibiotic eye drops clearns in 3-7 days. contagious by contact.

Viral conjunctivitis cause by virus, red eye, watery discharge, swollen glands in neck and in front of ear, often associated with cold or flu, not respond to anitibiotics, can blur vision lasts 7-15 days, very contagious.
