Inflamed swollen tear ducts

When i wake up in the morning the tear ducts at the corners closest to my nose are inflammed and swollen, i also get a very small amount of mucous which is white with a yellow tinge to it. After about 40 mins it goes away and the tear ducts return to normal size and colour however they somtimes on the odd occasion itch during the day. I take it this is not normal? After Lasik recently i was on Steroids and anti biotics for a week however the tear ducts would still be inflamed and swollen therefore im thinking it can't be an infection as the anti biotics would have cleared it.

Your lasik surgeon should be able to shed some light on the cause and treatment. Schedule an appointment.
