Intermittent Exotropia

Intermittent Exotropia

I have and amblyopia and Intermittent Exotropia. I am 27 yrs old. I just start wearing prescription eyeglasses for about 6 weeks now. In the prescription eyeglasses,my eyes are straight. When i take the eyeglasses off, my eyes are not straight.I should wait after 3 months to see the results. How long does it take for my eyes to work and move together in the eyeglasses. Would u recommend  surgery.

I would give it at least a couple of months. I have a question for you, could you tell you had exotropia? Like if you looked in the mirror could you see it? I don't know if I have that but it feels like it, but no one will tell me the truth...

Yes, I could tell. When i look in the mirror my left eye is straight for about two seconds then it wanders. How much is a couple of months? 3,4,5 months
