Intermittent flash of light in peripheral vision

by Diane7898, Jul 02, 2009 12:37PM
I have an intermittent flash of light in my left peripheral vision.  It is shaped like a crescent moon.  I occurs with lateral movement, flickers and then goes away.  I believe inception is associated with a HUGE floater that resolved but the light did not.

Dear Diane7898,

I would recommend that you seek the care of an eyeMD to make certain that you do not have a retinal tear or detachment.
