Is lasik surgery related to detached my retina?

I don't have diabetes, no head injuries and no incindent on both eyes. When I was in the US Navy I had prk lasek surgery on both eyes. After 4 years, suddenly my right have detached retina. My doctor had made treatment on my right eye to have vitrectomy surgery. I still having problem my vision is blurring and cloudy. Is this likely or most likely related to lasek surgery? Note: I have a website for detached retina due to lasek surgery.

Dear bcoz,

Usually one undergoes laser vision correction due to a refractive error such as nearsightedness of the eye.  Nearsighted individuals are at an increased risk for retinal detachments.
