Is there a solution for the Eye staying dialated

RIGHT EYE:  MAY 1994-Surgery-Retina Detachment(standard solution, 30 day bubble).
FEB 1995-Cataract removal-lens inserted(vision blurred).
MAY 2005-Surgery-Retina Detachment(standard solution, 30day w/bubble-not successful).
JULY 2005-Surgery-Retina Detachment(heavy silicone solution(successful)
OCT 2008-Surgery to remove lens implant (inserted after cataract surgery-1995), as it had
                skewed off center to the right side , and repositioning of the silicone fluid
                which had seeped into the front of the eye contamining the cornia with a wide
                band of calcium? buildup.

As a result of the above actions, the Iris stays full dialated.  At first, the light entering the
               eye caused much discomfort and pain.  However, as the cornia became
               contaminated with the calcium buildup, the light became less of a problem but
               my vision decreased to almost no vision.  It is my understanding that the
               dialation problem is due to scar tissue preventing the Iris to function normally.

I am scheduled for what is referred to as a Cornia Scrub.  This should improve my vision,
               but then the extreme bright light problem due to the iris staying dialated will
               return.

I would like to know what options are available and what course of action might be
              recommended at this time.

A pupil that doesn't work right is very common after RD surgery especially multiple surgeries or a scleral buckle around the eye. often it cannot be prevented. Usually the pupil is bigger than the other normal pupil not smaller.

some times a drop like pilocarpine can constrict the pupil but it does have side effects and often doesn't work

Options migh include a cosmetic soft contact lens that has a pupil painted on it. There is a new operation to make an artifical pupil but its a big operation with multiple risks and not widely available.

I do not think its approved in the USA. As I understand it (have not seen it only read about) incision made into eye then a colored iris with fixed pupil put in eye. Risks will involve infection, bleeding, corneal failure and glaucoma.
