My son is 17 years now, about 14 years ago he was prescribed with severe myopia. Last year he had three eye retina detachment surgeries. Now he developed a cataract and doubleDouble-tussin dm vision. His vision is very poor -17.50 OD and -15.50 OS. He wears contact lenses and he is doing well. He is going to college next year. I hope he will get a cure in the future.
When and if he cataracts get bad enough to have surgery the Eye MDs will put an intraocular lens (IOL) in his eye to correctCorrect (new formula) his high myopia so that he will no longer need thick glasses.
