Itchy, Swollen Eyes

by DXL, Oct 24, 2007 10:55AM
For the past two weeks, goin on three, my eyes have been very itchy and swollen. The swolleness is especially bad when I wake up in the morning. I have been putting in eye drops(Optivar) and taking Allegra at night. It doesn't seem to be working. The swolleness goes down slightly during the day but the itchiness does not. Just a couple of days ago over the weekend, both the sweeling and itching went away. That Monday the itching started again in the late afternoon. The next morning they were swollen. I have stopped wearing make-up also. Please.. HELP! Thanks!

Try cool compresses and Zaditor which is available over the counter. If it continues see an Eye MD physician ophthalmologist.
