KJER'S Dominant Optic Atrophy

My granddaughter, 4 years old, was just diagnosed with KJER's Dominant Optic Atrophy with 20/200 vision.  I have sooooo many questions, about schools for her, to teach her braille or not to teach braille, what kind of services can the schools provide us, how do we prepare for her future, are there support groups where we can talk with other parents who have children with the same disease?  There are just so many questions and no one to answer them all.

Only the ophthalmologist and consulting Eye MDs can answer these questions. I have no experience with this problem to share with you. Good luck
