Keratitis and a million other problems, Related??

For the last two and a half months I have had problems with my eye.  The left one is very red and swollen.  It's so sensitive to light I can't usually even drive.  I can't watch TV and looking at the computer screen burns.  Well during this time I have had other problems too.  For two months my glands in my groin have been very, very swollen, to the point where I can't even were jeans sometimes because the pressure hurts so bad.  I have also had a respitory infection for a month and a sinus infection for two months.  My snot is very infected.  I don't feel well at all.  I am always tired and nothing seems to help.  I went to the doctor after a month of this and they told me I had a viral infection which was causing the swollen glands and my eyes were just irritated from allergies.  They gave me really strong antibiotics for the glands and sinus irrigation for the eye.  Another month goes by, same problems plus the respitory infection now so I go back.  Again, he tells me my eye is allergies and gives me an even stronger antibiotic for my respitory infection and glands.  It's been a month and nothing has gotten better.  It just keeps getting worse.  I called to schedule an appointment with my eye doctor and he said to take my contacts out and wear glasses for a week and my eyes should get better on their own.  It's been over a week and they are still red, still burning, still sensitive and now my vision is cloudy.  The discharge from my eyes gets so bad that I can't even see.  My eye is stuck together in the morning.
I have been doing research and it says that cold sores can cause keratitis which leads to the respitory infection.  I haven't seen anything about the glands, but they swell do to infection, which is what I think caused keratitis in my eye.  All the doctors I have been to just think this is a big game obviously.  They act like I am being a whiner and it's just not that big of a deal.  I need to go see a new doctor I guess.  But has anyone experienced symptoms like this?  Could it all be related??

I know that about the contacts, I couldn't get them in my eyes even if I tried anyways.  The doctor already told me that.  And I already have an Eye MD, I just am nervous to go see him and was hoping to get some insight before hand.  I have been to a GP and they haven't helped so I was hoping to get other opinions.

1. Leave you contacts out and don't wear them at all. Find an Eye MD near you at www.aao.org    You also need to be under the care of a GP or internist for your other health issues.

Oh, and also, my fiance had a cold sore about two months ago... when all this started.  It was bleeding and I helped him clean up.  Maybe I touched my eye after or something.  Maybe he kissed my eye.  I don't know.  I used to get keratitis once a year for about ten years when I was a kid.  My symptoms are the same which is what prompted me to research this.  I haven't had it in probably eight years now though.  But while doing research I found all that information and now I am wondering if ALL my sypmtoms are related.
