Some people say that it is not advisible to go for a lasik eye surgery during the pregnancy period. Is it just myth or there are some medical reason behind this? Please help.

I Pregnancy can cause the shape of the cornea to change and thus the amount of lasik needed.  So our practice avoids PG patients for elective surgery.

Also there is the tiny risk to the embryo and the real risk of a lawsuit (at least in sue happy USA).
