Lasik eye surgery

by marianabd, Aug 02, 2008 03:19AM
I had Lasik eye surgery on both eyes 4 days ago.  I can now see things clearly at a distance, however close up things appear blurry and I can't read or use my computer.  Although I was advised I would need reading glasses after the surgery my close up vision is much worse.  Is this normal?  Will it improve?  I am really struggling with this.

Depends on your age. If' you're over 40 then likely not and you'll need reading glasses. AFter 40 lasik surgery is robbing peter (near vision) to pay paul (far vision). Sounds like your were told you would need reading glasses. They were not kidding.
