Lasik or Lasek laser eye surgery?

HELLO
I've had a bit of dry eye syndrome in the past but the symptoms have seemed to have gone now.
Apparently its more painful to heal but same results (& cheaper).
Both are being done by a laser not a knife.
Just a little confused and would appreciate feedback.

Lasik it the bread and butter procedure and has the highest success rate.  Make sure your dry eye problem is mentioned to your surgeon and well evaluated.  I can't say if you are truly a good candidate since I don't know your case.
