Lasik with amblyopia and strabismus

Hi I am 25 years old and want to get Lasik done to correct the vision in one of my eyes. Yes I said one because I have amblyopia and strabismus in my left eye. My right eye is healthy just nearsighted. Is it still possible to have the surgery with having both of these conditions in the other eye?

It is probably ok.  You should check with your surgeon.  You do not want to have your strabismus get worse after surgery.  This depends on the balance of the refraction in both eyes.  Does you strabismus change if you only wear a contact lens in the good eye?

I have worn contact lenses in the past and it makes no diffence to my bad eye.
