Latent Hyperopia and My Prescription

I went to the Opticians last week, I have found my eyes get tired and ache a bit.
I was told I have Latent Hyperopia, and dry eyes, and was given the prescription
R +0.75 x -0.5 x 165
L +0.75 x -0.5 x 6
Is this a prescription that I need to wear at all/often? My friend told me it was very weak. Is it? Or do I need the glasses due to the Latent Hyperopia thing?
I am not sure what to do, any advice would be useful.
