Left eye blinking

Its been almost two months, my left eye blinks at least 100 times a day. Initially I thought that it might be a cause of lack of sleep, but I no longer think so. I have had a good sleep over the last 2 - 3 weeks and still its not stopping. It really irritates, when I am concetrating on something and the eye starts blinking.

Please suggest a possible cause and a possible remedy for this problem.

Thanks,

Nik.

All of us blink thousands of times each day. See an Eye MD for an evaluation if you think you are blinking more than normal. find one at www.aao.org
