Lens movement after cataract surgery

by Rere455, Jul 11, 2009 12:37PM
I had a cataract operation yesterday,I'm fine with no pain and my vision still hazy but my family are saying they can see the lens moving is it normal or do I need to contact my doctor. Thanks

It's only been a day so some blurred vision is still to be expected but it should start to improve soon.  It is reasonable to call your surgeon if your vision does not start to improve in a few days or so.  Usually, it is impossible for anyone to see the lens inside your eye without ophthalmic equipment so I doubt your family is actually seeing your lens implant.
